Our Core Programs

Professional Integrated Bodywork Program

Come join this exciting and expanding field in alternative and complementary health. As a culture, we are accepting that everyone is responsible for learning about and healing their own body and mind. This state licensed program will enable you to discover your innate knowledge to help others and make this the career you have always wanted.

Graduates of this thorough and complete program will be awarded a diploma and a rewarding vocation assisting others in gaining new insights into health and life. This program will fulfill the requirements to sit for the national Certification Exam.

Divided into three segments, the flexible organization of this course allows students to regain some of their investment output before continuing their studies if so desired. Level I teaches the student professional ethics and attitudes combined with the most important element in any healing environment, sacred intention.

Professional Reflexology Program

Our state licensed reflexology program is a unique approach to this ancient and effective healing art. We are fortunate to have as the director, Margot Hawk, who combines her wealth of psychology, nutrition and health approaches in this amazingly powerful program.

Students will be able to bring rewarding changes to people who seek their help. Margot works directly with each applicant, sharing her years of experience in the field. Students will learn to stimulate the healing reflexes not only in the feet but many other areas of the body. They will also learn to incorporate the essential body-mind connection into the healing process.

Integral Shiatsu Program

This state licensed Diploma Program is a combination of traditional Japanese acupressure massage therapy and contemporary healing techniques gathered by Master Lisa Baas over her 20 years of professional healing work.

Shiatsu utilizes the acupuncture and acupressure meridians as a bridge between the physical and energetic bodies. A Shiatsu practitioner may work on the structural body (the muscles, fascia and lymph), the emotional body and the energetic body (the chakras). This type of therapy is comprehensive and effective in assessing individual health on many levels.

Shiatsu sessions are done on a thick mat called a futon. Loose comfortable cotton clothing is worn. It is a gentle, physically non-invasive healing technique that is delightful and deeply relaxing for everyone from children to seniors.

Clinical Herbalist Diploma Program

Herbal medicine is currently experiencing a renaissance, and this state licensed diploma program responds to the need for trained, qualified practitioners.

The program is designed to provide the student with a sound foundation in botanical medicine, divided into three levels for a total of 600 hours of classtime. Students will be prepared for private practice or work in an office setting with other health care practitioners such as D.C., D.O., M.D., Massage Therapist or Psychologist. It can also be taken as a double diploma in conjunction with the Massage, Reflexology, or Shiatsu diploma programs. The Clinical Herbalist Diploma Program is directed by Richard Mandelbaum AHG.

Level I will provide the student with a foundation in materia medica, systems approaches to herbal medicine, botany, and clinical work. Levels II and III focus on increasing the clinical skills required to practice as a professional herbalist. Each level will last approximately one year, and students can enroll for one level at a time.
