| Bonita began her studies in 1972. Over 300 lessons in the Alexander Technique eased the pain from her scoliosis and began a fascination with alternative health. The studies continued in many areas until the interest became a profession in 1983. She started with integrated massage training but realized the power of energy work early and pursued Polarity training. Trager® psychophysical integration certification came by the end of 1985. Her interest in acupuncture led her to study with a Five-Element doctor. Cranio-sacral training in 1988, Shiatsu in 1984, Touch For Health in 1994, Reiki I and II in 1992 in addition to many weekend workshops rounded out the East/West approach. She has been leading healers to their own talents since 1984. Bonnie was blessed by a mother whose kitchen cabinets were full of herbs. |

Kathy's twenty-five years in the printing department of the Allentown School District have given her the organizational skills to assist in keeping order in the school's office. She assists in classes, bringing a most welcomed heart energy and quiet manner. A Nationally Certified graduate of the massage school, she has also studied Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Reflexology, Touch for Health, is a Reiki Master and a Trager® practitioner. Kathy loves gemstones, herbs and Aromatherapy. |

Margot's years of experience come through her hands when she is working those reflex points on your feet! She is a graduate of West Chester State College and taught secondary school for ten years before apprenticing Reflexology with Doris Kummerer in 1974. Since then, more Reflexology classes from the International Institute plus Touch for Health, Nutritional Certification and Ayurvedic studies continued her education. Margot is a second degree Reiki practitioner and has studied Body Psychology, Iridology and Body Electronics.

She has taken Level I, II and III and Advanced Macrobiotic Cooking classes plus many more international cookery classes. Lisa also studied with Barbara Brennan. She has been lecturing, cooking and teaching since 1980. Lisa is in the process of obtaining her Certified Instructor status from the AOBTA (American Oriental Bodywork Therapists Association) with which she has been a member since 1988. |

She holds a B.A. in management, a B.S. in transpersonal psychology and is currently pursuing her doctorate in energy medicine. She has been formally training with respected healers since 1988 and teaching since 1995. She also facilitates workshops in stress reduction, self-awareness and energy based healing techniques. |

She has attended workshops and lectures on aromatherapy and related topics presented by professionals in the fields of nursing, chemistry, botany, massage therapy, cosmetology and perfumery. In her growing private practice, she creates custom blends and recently authored "The Scented Workday," a brief primer for using aromatherapy to enhance work life. |

He is an instructor in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support, has been a paramedic and does many talks on herb and health care. He is currently attending Lehigh County Community College to obtain an Associates degree in Social Science and continuing toward a degree in Medical Sociology. His interests are in Gerontology, Sleep Disorders, Herbal Medicine, Alternative Therapies in Health Care and Respiratory Diseases.

Stephanie joins us from Sacred Heart Hospital where she is currently the Supervisor of Outpatient Physical Therapy Services. She holds a B.S. degree in Genetic Engineeering Technology and Biology with a graduate degree in Physical Therapy. Steph originally worked for Roche Biomedical developing DNA technology; she has since moved into the "hands-on" health sciences ten years ago. She has special interest and training in the Maitland-Australian concept of manual physical therapy. Steph loves dogs and she has turned her love for animals into her own animal physical therapy consulting business, Aegis Animal Rehab, named after her favorite canine. She has pursued education in basic Animal Science to develop relationships with local veterinarians on canine and feline PT. Steph hopes to further pursue her animal interests to develop Canine Massage and Acupressure workshops for the Academy.

Judith is a nationally certified Somatic Therapist trained in deep tissue work, St. John's Neuromuscular Therapy, Healing Touch, Alexander Technique, and Rehabilitative Bodywork. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Chicago in cultural anthropology, and has conducted movement studies in Asia, Africa and Europe. As a professional dancer/choreographer, Judith performed with some of the world's leading companies, including Pilobolus, and produced ballets based on sacred and humanistic themes. Judith has served on the staff of Drs. Hall and Sidra stone, originators of Voice Dialogue and the Psychology of selves, and she has served frequently on the counselng staff of author Shakti Gawain, who says, "Judith Hendin has developed a profound and effective method for hearing the messages our bodies are trying to give us. She is a wonderful healer whose work I highly recommend." Judith is happy to join the teaching staff at LVHAA.

and professional member of the American Herbalists Guild (AHG).
He maintains a private practice in which he offers personalized
holistic health consultations. Richard has been enthusiastically studying
the plant world since 1986 and has been practicing as an herbalist since
1997, with a background in both Chinese and Western herbal traditions. He
is a graduate of the School of Herbal Therapeutics and the Sage Mountain
Advanced Herbal Training Program, and has studied with several well-known
and respected herbalists including David Winston and William LeSassier.
Richard practices herbal medicine based on the belief that health care should
be integrative and holistic, taking into account the whole person rather

Brian is also and adopted lineage holder of the style, and a third generation grandson with the given name of Pai, Shen-Li. He is the owner and teacher of the Bethlehem Kung Fu Center since 1988. Brian's studies in the healing arts began in Polarity Therapy. He reveived his Polarity Therapy training at the Polarity Wellness Center in New York City. Brian is a Registered Polarity Practitioner since 1984 and he still continues his studies with internationally recognized healers and teachers. he is currently a certified teacher in energy based Polarity Therapy. He also has a successful private practice for over 15 years. Brian shares his knowledge and philosophy in a unique blending of healing arts and martial arts. |
